Three thrilling nights of Challenger Series Professional Bull Riding featuring some of the world’s top riders and fiercest bulls. Outlaw Partners brought PBR to Big Sky 15 years ago, and since then, the event has earned the prestigious 10X Event of the Year award—voted on by the bull riders themselves. This recognition highlights that, despite being one of the smallest stops on the circuit, Big Sky delivers an unparalleled experience. With Lone Peak as a stunning backdrop, an organized and exciting schedule of events, unique merchandise offerings, substantial prize funds, and an immersive experience where everyone can embrace their inner cowboy, this event is truly one of the most special I’ve had the privilege to work on and be a part of.

My Impact on PBR
Event and Retail Experience
As the Director of Retail, I played a pivotal role for the last 4 years in ensuring the success of the PBR event, contributing to its reputation as one of the most exciting and memorable experiences in Big Sky. My responsibilities began long before the event, with extensive research into trends, designs, and top-performing merchandise. Collaborating closely with our illustrator, I developed competitive and high-quality merchandise collections tailored to the event’s audience. We launched pre-orders to build excitement and drive early engagement, setting the stage for a strong event presence.
Beyond merchandise, I also curated custom gifts for the cowboys, created prizes, and fulfilled additional retail needs for clients, ensuring every detail aligned with the event’s high standards. During the event itself, I managed multiple retail stands, overseeing staff, tracking sales, and ensuring we exceeded revenue goals while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
In addition to retail, I worked closely with other vendors and retailers, serving as their primary point of contact. I ensured they had everything needed to succeed, from setup logistics to troubleshooting during the three-day event. Managing these long days and intricate details solidified my passion for creating life-changing and engaging events, inspiring me to continue delivering unforgettable experiences that bring people together.
